Gotta admit, I've never listened to pneuma all the way through. I adore the self titled, and like Waves, but I kind of forget about it and never went back further

You gotta listen. If you dig them, it’s like an Appleseed Cast album in disguise.

Also, beyond the fact it’s a really tightly-wrapped concept album, it’s also just amazing sequentially. Every song molds itself into whatever comes next so it feels like one long song. I agree that it has peaks and valleys but those high points are transcendent and life-affirming in ways I’ve only experienced a handful of times with any music. I remember exactly where and when it was when I first heard Pneuma as a teenager, and honestly, it hasn’t changed in its effect for me since.

 

Yeah, Pneuma is phenomenal. One of my favorite albums of all time.

 

i feel like this EP flew under the radar. couple songs each from Pneuma/Waves, but more in the style of S/T. this version of 8105 is probably my #1 movmou song

 

Love New Light. My second favorite MM release

 

The New Light EP is great

 

Yeah that EP is great. Love those renditions of Alleviate and 8105

 

It's never really done much for me, I just don't think I dig the band with that softer sound. I think it kinda drains those songs of life a bit.
