Listening to their self titled on a cold fall morning with my coffee might be one of my favorite things. Actually excited for fall for that reason hah.

 

This thread is really making me want to listen to the self-titled in the fall. Even on AP I remember that being mentionned a lot.

Anyone want to ask if this is the fabled Ansible album that was supposed to come out in 2012/2013?

 

I feel like the new owel album is whatever the next moving mountains release would've sounded like. It's gorgeous and you should all listen to it

 

Abby Normal is probably the best song they've written. So damn good.

I liked Owel's last album, though I don't go back to it often. I'll have to check out the new one. Same with Gates.

 

I was in the same position, but this album blew me away. One of my favorites this year. Really great stuff

I'd say that MoMu's Self-titled is the best album any of those 3 bands have produced

Vasudeva and Athletics are likely the two bands he's referring to. It was kind of a weird point to make considering many shows have openers that are better than the headliner, but he's right anyway

 

Vasudeva is tight. Been revisiting their album a little bit lately. Patiently awaiting their second album.

 

I had Life In Cycles sitting in my itunes for a long time and only got around to checking it out really early this year. Sooo good!

 

Gotta listen to both of those then!
