    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Prawn tracks on that split were top notch of their discog as well

I'd like more new material for both bands.

I love MovMou ad those songs but I personally think Prawn outshined them. Slopes and Seas are a fantastic duo of songs.

Deathless is one of MovMou's best tracks

I prefer Abby Normal, but both MovMou songs are among the band's best work

I wouldn't consider that a regression at all, but to each their own. S/T was just incredibly underwhelming, imo.

I mean it's the definition of a regression to move backwards right? I love Waves but going back to that sound would be regressing.

These guys are talented enough songwriters where whatever they did would be great. An LP of songs like those split songs with more extravagant instrumentation would be dope

The only song I love by American Football is "Never Meant" but it's so good that I understand and accept how well regarded and beloved they are.

"The Summer Ends" is a jam as well.

that's my second favourite, haha. It doesn't blow me away or anything though.

I felt that ST lacked vocally in terms of vocal styles and production. Greg has a good voice but always seemed to holding back not trying to sound like Waves in anyway. Took a little of the emotion out of it. I'm not saying he had to scream as much, just a hint more variety in parts, since the guitars showed a lot of emotion.

I think a balance of the two albums with a mix of the EP would be perfect, but I'll take anything from these guys.

Understandable. It's best to listen to on a cool fall morning on the porch with a cup of tea. Trust me. Do it.

I think Pneuma is easily his worst record, vocally.

He's not very good on Pneuma but he doesn't ruin the album for me.

He doesn't ruin the album for me either on Pneuma. It takes a lot for me to really not like a vocalist.

On the S/T, I think his vocs are very soothing. They fit right in with the music. It's perfect harmony to me.

Greg can't be at his worst for S/T when he does everything he's trying to accomplish there. The record is perfect because of how the vocals compliment the pieces so well. I couldn't imagine me liking the S/T as much if he sung it in a different style. I'm a fan of how a lot of things are layered vocally too, like the backing vocals of Burn Pile. You don't have to be over the top to have good vocals.

No way. Eastern Leaves has bad vox. Won't accept
