Who exactly decides what gets released by Shout Factory? I've never seen a company so consistently kill it with their content more than shout does

 

the quick answer is that our acquisitions dept is constantly looking for content to release, they bring the content into a larger projection meeting with like 10-15 people who determine the viability of the project & potential upside & downsides, then we connect with the content owners to make a deal.

A lot of credit goes to acquisitions though, they spend all their time talking to licencors and convincing them to let us handle their content
