90s bad movies are extremely watchable

 

My son is extremely into Snow Day, watched it twice in less than 24 hours. As an adult, it HOLDS UP.

 

‘90s bad movies were usually a result of people actively trying to make good movies and falling short, so there was still a serious effort on the technical side. Quickly and cheaply filling the content mill for streaming has led to a very different type of middling movie recently.

 

Ummm I saw Snow Day on my very first date and my gf kissed me on the lips to that movie in the theater soooooo it fuckin happened alright?

We actually hung out at our 15 year high school reunion and introduced our spouses to each other and talked about how funny it was that our first kisses were to Snow Day.

Just rewatched snow day and it definitely holds up. I also learned that they are doing a musical remake?

 

Worst date movie was that Adam Sandler animated film Eight Crazy Nights. We broke up a week later.

First movie I saw with my wife was It Comes at Night. We thought it was more of a “normal” horror movie

 

We are all very fortunate these relationships worked out.
