I ended up seeing Sorry to Bother You the other day. So good and totally off base from what I expected at all haha

I looked at the app today and since it was sunday soo much shit was peak pricing. Typically I don't have off sundays so it's never a day I'm trying to go, it's still just wild. If that was a day that I wanted to go on I would probably just switch to the AMC one cause I aint trying to pay peak prices all the time like that

Saw all the major movies had peak prices here today, so I checked the fandango app to look at seats available and one of the showings I forget which film it was, at the time had maybe three seats sold.

I just recently watched the Mamma Mia movie after seeing my sister in law perform in the broadway show. Will watch number 2 soon.

the fact that I called the ending of Skyscraper in the first 10 minutes due to some throwaway line just made it a massive mehh.

It was exactly the type of movie made for moviepass.

Yeah Skyscraper was one of the worst movies I've seen with moviepass. I just kept saying "why is everyone so pissed" the whole time.

I think it's one of the best movies I've seen with MoviePass because it's legitimately the type of movie I'd only have seen with MoviePass.

Getting some use this week, Equalizer and Mama Mia Down, Mission Impossible and Teen Titans to go. Might catch Eight Grade at the Alamo this weekend.

I've been slacking hard on movies(just watching one a week) and I still have Mamma Mia, Equalizer and Hotel Translyvania 3.

I still have to see Ant-Man and Incredibles 2. Just feel weird going to Incredibles 2 alone.

Anxiety sucks, haha. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but sometimes I just can't get over the stupid hurdles my mind makes. Just got to suck it up and go!

As someone who suffers from anxiety and has a close friend with severe social anxiety, I completely understand. I hope you go! It's a good film! Good luck!

I always feel anxious going to shows/concerts alone, but my wife doesn’t share my music taste and my friends are busier than I am. I end up going to a number of shows alone each year.

I feel less aware of myself when I go to movies alone since I always see a lot of loners in there.

The first movie I saw alone that was “weird” for me was How you Train Your Dragon since it is meant to be a family movie. I’m not so weird about being IN the theatre as much as I feel weird buying the ticket. But Pixar has sort of made it acceptable to see animated films when you’re an adult coming in with no kids in tow. I feel more comfortable doing that now.

I saw Incredibles 2 alone and it was great.

I go to probably 98% of movies by myself. My GF and I don't have the same taste in movies and honestly I just like going by myself. It's a nice break from everything and I can go whenever I want.

a lot of my coworkers/family make fun of me for watching movies alone but I've just ignored them for the most part since going alone is nice and it requires no planning.

It sucks seeing a movie I really liked with someone who didn’t like it. It always sours the way I view the movie so I always go alone.

I tried to plan a trip to see a movie a few weeks ago and like half the group wanted to see it and the other half didn't.

I was like ok forget it I'm never doing this again.

Only time I feel awkward going to a movie alone is when I have a middle seat in the row, and a huge group or family sits around me lol

Totally relate to the anxiety though; I always feel a little weird going to a “family film” alone, but I no longer believe there’s a stigma attached to solo moviegoing or concerts. Lone wolfing is trendy!

I do find it weird when a family sits next to me, by only when the put the kid next to me. Which happens more than I would expect.

It makes me question the parents’ decision making ability.
