Yea, my theater is small and generally never crazy. Only insane time was for TFA. But I’m gonna snag my ticket early in the day to avoid the line in the evening.

 

My theater is Regal’s HQ flagship place. It’s always ridiculous at these things.

 

will it even be possible to get tickets to Infinity War opening day with movie pass? Won't they sell advance tickets online that will make every showing old out?

 

Depends on the theater and showing, I’m sure. My theater essentially never sells out, minus Force Awakens.

 

I’m probably gonna have to see infinity war at like 10:30 or 11:00 if that. Luckily I’m free all day tomorrow worst case scenario

 

Same, I get off work at 9:30, but there are showings at 10:15, 10:30, 10:45, and 11 at the Regal by me so I'm hoping that's late enough to be able to get in without being able to go to a kiosk beforehand.

 

Is the check-in crashing for anyone else?

 

I got my Infinity War ticket a couple hours ago with zero issues.

 

I got a bug that people associate with using ticket verification for the first time (which it was)

All fixed now

 

Somehow got an 8:15 ticket idk I guess they must have opened up another showing today

 

I love living in a city that's big enough to hold 15 opening night showings, but not big enough to fill any of them. Just bought my 7:30 ticket with Moviepass

 

maybe it's already been talked about, but what's this that i'm hearing about them taking away unlimited movies and limiting it to only 4 movies a month?

 

Scroll back like a page or two, it’s a limited time “deal” that is no deal at all lol

 

It still saves you money though. Certainly my deal is better. But even if you go to 4 matinees and would normally pay $24 for all 4, which is probably conservative for most theaters, you are still saving $14.

 

But are you stuck with that forever, or after 3 months does it revert to 1 a day?

I believe you get whatever you sign up for for as long as you are a member. I get that it’s not their best offer by any means, but it does still save someone money.

But I am glad I get unlimited per month.

 

I thought Movie Pass worked with Fathom events? I thought I used it for an anime film before, or at least saw the option available.

 

Works with some, others it doesn't. Seems kinda like it happens at random too so it's always gonna be a toss up until day of.

 

Nah fathom events aren't allowed at all. You might be able to get away with it if they're less than or equal to the normal price but that's extremely rare (at least around here). Just because something shows up in the app doesn't mean it's accepted unfortunately.

 

11pm showing, hopefully I don't fall asleep. Also there were literally two seats left when I used the kiosk, front row...I already have neck pain

 

I don't think the unlimited movies pass is going to come back again like it has previously

 

I got in to a 7:15 showing with this today. But I went super early this morning

 

I'm leaving work early today to try and snag 1:45 matinee tickets for avengers. Catch me refreshing the cinemark page all day to see what's still available.
