RUSSELL Q3!!

 

Norris so fucking close to P1.

Russell starting 9th probably even 8th when Vettel gets his penalty.

 

Lando so close, gutted.

Russell brilliant in qualy again, guess he'll get another position after Vettel's penalty too. Ferrari should be in a good position despite missing out on Q3.

 

Hamilton signed until 2023 now. Feel like that might be his last season

 

God damn Russell. P8, on mediums.

The soft is going to be an absolute disaster in tomorrow’s race I think, so I think he has a HUGE advantage on several of the cars around and ahead of him.

Just get some points my dude.

 

Lap 1 safety car. Russell has lost a bunch of places on lap 1 as is tradition.

 

5 second penalty for Norris? That’s extremely harsh.

 

Two 5 second penalties for Perez. Very harsh, but the FIA caused that by giving the penalty to Norris.

 

Alonso overtakes Russell with 3 laps left for 10th. Pain.

 

Russell is never gonna get points at Williams.

Huge day for Verstappen in the championship!

 

Gutted for George but he did well. The points will come. He's getting there.

Hamilton showed up big time there. Russell gets p8 and out qualifies a Ferrari!

knowing his luck he’ll be fourth tomorrow and 11th in the full race lol.

 

Also this race is like, 30 minutes from me and I saw the attendance numbers and decided absolutely no chance I was going to what is going to be a super spreader event.

That was more fun than I was expecting. Not a huge fan though. Russell’s first top 10 race finish in a Williams and still no points lol.

Edit: oh I forgot Russell was under investigation so he might lose that position.

 

That was fun. Points should be given for the top 6 places imo, like it used to be, except you get 6 for first. Would have meant there was something for Alonso to really bother defending hard.

George is totally finishing 13th tomorrow, I’m calling it.

 

Agreed. I don’t hate the idea, but I’m not sure about it as qualifying, and the fact only the top three get points is an issue I have.

 

Jesus that was a shocking crash.

 

Aggressive from both, racing incident though in my opinion. I expect a penalty for Hamilton though.

Russell losing more places at the start again.

 

Lewis saying he was ahead, while completely missing the apex and hitting Max’s back wheel is hilarious. Slam dunk penalty imo when looking at it from Leclerc’s angle.

 

Has to be a Hamilton penalty, he missed the apex, had been given enough room and just took him out.

For me it’s got to be a very big penalty or you essentially say Lewis has gained from this.
