I will be in Columbus. Great tour! Really hope SoNo album comes out in March/April

 

Definitely will be hitting this tour up. I'm so excited. A little torn between the Chicago date, and making the drive to Des Moines so I can go on a Saturday and not have to worry about getting there from work and all that. I may even go to both honestly.

 

I'll most likely be at the Columbus date. I'll be going for Kevin Devine & The Goddamn Band and staying for part of Modern Baseball since I've never seen them live. Tickets are $19, which isn't bad. Hopefully the venue it's at is good

 

It's a pretty solid venue. Think a bigger Agora Ballroom with a little higher stage.

i didn't want to make this but yeah. also women. i can't imagine mobo and the other bands are pleased on being on an all dude lineup when they've been so outspoken about that

 

the thing about white people is that the scene is lacking that as a whole, even if bands tried to get poc on tours within similar scenes it'd be tough, which is another problem. there is no lack of women in the scene, so when tours don't even have one it's very disappointing. and as i said, knowing the bands on the bill i'm sure they would prefer that as well

 

These are all good bands made up of good people. I believe things would be different if it were up to them.

 

Yeah, it's surprising. I know Kevin usually does all he can to have variety.
