  2. Hell yeah. It’s been cool to see where this has been getting a bit of traction - feels like an early indie cult fav of the year. I’ve noticed some of the crowd on my instagram feed that usually shares stuff like Faye Webster and Men I Trust posting songs from this. The Portland venue he booked for his upcoming tour was upgraded due to demand too

Think this is my favorite album since 2022

I like this but it’s funny to me how much the vocal styling sounds like Dijon

I like this a lot. Thought a lot about John Mayer, Frank and Dijon while listening for sure.

  11. Same, I’m really curious about how these songs will be performed live. And also to see if he’ll be arranging his old stuff to closer match this vibe. When I saw Dijon a couple years ago they seemed really into the idea of live renditions being very different from studio versions

  12. What's the connection between Mk.gee and Dijon?

It then made me wanna listen to Dijon immediately after

  16. Yeah, Mk.gee did a lot on that record! Guitars, drums, bass, keys, vocals all scattered throughout as well as multiple writing credits. Also plays in the live band

  17. I like this, but I wish I liked any of it as much as I like "Little Bit More" and "Dream Police." "DNM" and "Rylee & I" come the closest.

The last two or three tracks are my least favorite on the album! It’s where it starts to blend a bit for me. (Not that I think they’re bad - actually the opposite.)

  22. It’s for sure still my favorite record to come out in 2024 yet. Can’t get over it. I really regret sleeping on the vinyl
