Rebuild of I-35W in Minneapolis starting Monday 'will be tough' on drivers

 

If anyone is looking for something to do tomorrow night, my dumb band is playing the Viking Bar! It's free and it's gonna be a bunch of fun, let me know you're from Chorus and I'll buy ya a beer! We play around 10:15 or so. Show is free!

 

Hey y'all my new band is playing our first show on 10/24. It's at the Triple Rock and we'll be supporting Sleep Debt, another new band ft members of Straya and Maeth. So yeah, come out! Should be a kickass Tuesday night

Not yet! Recording a double A-side this month to start doing some promo but right now we just lucked out with a show before we have any sort of material lol

too bad that stain of a venue cabooze can't close, i was there thursday for Amine and it was p awful

 

So fucking bummed about the triple rock news

 

Now all the venues i went to my first metal shows at will be gone. The triple rock closing hurts my heart a little extra.

 

cabooze don't bother me too much.

 

Quest gone.
Station 4 gone.
Triple Rock gone.
Varsity doing who knows what.
Sad times.

 

The Cabooze is such a strange venue, giving me weird vibes every time I'm there.

The Quest was my jam back in the day; too bad nobody could ever make that spot work.

Varsity I think will be returning to normal soon

 

with a different owner i hope.

 

it was purchased this past summer by some company based out of hong kong who are remodeling and going to bring music back hopefully soon.

last time i was at varsity was the commit this to memory 10 year, it was a fun atmosphere.

 

Hope the remodel isn't anything crazy, I liked the interior there

 

same, those bathrooms were insanely gorgeous.

 

Man I really love the Riverview theater

 

Anyone heading to Julien Baker tonight? Think we’re stopping at the Triple Rock before hand, gotta make it there as much as possible before it closes

 

Seeing LANY at First Avenue next Monday night, mainly to see Norwegian pop star Dagny open

 

super bummed I missed her, but decided to make a last minute north shore run today instead :/

 

good. Only been there for a couple shows. Liked the place when i went.
