i mighta screamed when Scogin came out

didn't start crying until Aaron did the salute, that really got me

what a setlist man. so glad i got to see Bethlehem, that song means a lot to me. so thankful i existed at the same time as this band

 

so, humorously considering I wrote the farewell, I didn’t get to watch either livestream due to being at two different concerts. i wore my farewell tour shirt tonight as a small memento and others mentioned the band as they saw it. there’s something about music and the community it fosters that’s so magical and important and bands like mwY are the secret ingredients.

so looking forward to sitting down and watching the streams soon.

 

I can’t stop thinking about Aaron and the kids throwing flowers into the crowd

 

My daughter happened to wake up at 4am UK time and they were still playing so got to watch a sizeable portion of the set and it was beautiful and all their families coming out dancing at the end was the most fitting and wholesome. It couldn’t end any other way. This is real music, friends. Full of love & light, full of depth and meaning.

They have shaped the last 20 years of my life.

There will never be another band like mewithoutYou.

 

I will never be able to put into words what this band means to me. Everything about these past two nights were fucking perfect. I was full on sobbing in the pit tonight, along with almost everyone nearby.

Thank you for everything boys. I'm so glad I got to exist at the same time they were a band

What a special weekend. Can’t explain how much this band has meant to me since 2004. I can’t believe they’re gone… so lucky to have been at these shows.

Long live mewithoutYou. I can't think of another band that has had such a positive impact on my life over the last 20 years.

 

I have now watched the full show and I am in bits. I definitely feel a sense of loss and grief but in that meaningful and joyful way at the same time. What a band.

They’ve got to make these live final shows available to download. Has anyone heard anything about that? I need to be watching these regularly for the rest of my life.

 

Haven’t listened to any of this band’s EPs until now with Pale Horses: Appendix and just want to say that Werewolf King is great

 

Apparently did not get it all out last night during the stream. I’ve been playing them nonstop around the house today and just broke down before going to Aldi. My girlfriend thought i’d just got news of tragedy from a family member. Which in a way, I guess I kinda did

so a few weeks ago I laid out all my mwY records to take a discography collections picture and I realized that my untitled deluxe clear/split variant actually also includes one "space" variant (white blob in clear) as the C/D disc - anyone else's copies also like this? I remember the pre-order of this being forever I just figured they all came like this lol
