This is one of the worst “tackles” I’ve seen in a long time. Should be a long long ban.

 

Not sure what the problem is with Spurs right now. The goal output is not where it should be. I know we gave up two very preventable goals today but the lack of goals is more worrying for me.

 

I want to say a lot of it is just a lack of continuity in our lineups. Today was suppose to be the day we finally had the full starting XI from the beginning of the season all starting together again. Then BOTH fullbacks went out haha

There has been a lot of shuffling of lineups most of the season, so I get why it could take a couple games for guys to get their legs back and get the chemistry back. But it’s still frustrating.

 

Five players out over these two away games. Won them a total of 11-0.

We're a lot of fun right now.

 

I think in 1-2 windows we can have the depth to make it through injuries like that (maybe not 11-0 good lol). Hopefully over that time the chemistry builds as high as Arsenal’s as well.

 

Tbf we have had kids on the bench for those games, plus Elneny and Cedric, but yeah, the depth is definitely slowly getting there. Liverpool & City are the only teams with proper depth I think.

Having to play our third choice CB at LB has been a weird one but he's actually done really well in the absence of Tomiyasu/Timber/Zinchenko.

I'd love to know how much time Doku spent on the ball today. I get that he's a good dribbler and he generally buys his team positioning towards and in the box, but so often he ends up dawdling on the ball and it's frustrating to watch

 

What happened on the opposite flank really frustrated me. It was essentially Foden and De Bruyne occupying the same area of the pitch and most of the time the only thing they could do is let De Bruyne whip aimless balls in. I mean, what a waste of both of them!

 

I don't get starting Alvarez in the midfield over Bernardo/Foden.. as well as constantly playing Akanji in that John Stones role from last season
