Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

    Bergvall is so, so good.

  2. Don’t feel bad about Bergvall not getting a second yellow because his first was a joke.

Huge win. Kinsky getting a clean sheet two days after signing. Hopefully we’re more healthy for the trip to Anfield.

Yeah that’s a great win. Crying about Bergvall being on still is hilarious given how much of a joke the first yellow was. Clean sheet, looked honestly good all game. One of our most complete games in a minute. Feel terrible for Bentancur.

I like Ange’s explanation regarding the Bergvall foul

    He is wonderful.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Potter confirmed at West Ham then. I'd like to see him do well, but getting West Ham looking good again right now is hard to imagine. Not sure if Potter is the guy you want mid-season, when you're already slipping towards trouble.

Bigger questions need to be asked of their technical director. He was banned from the training ground due to how he was acting around Moyes towards the end and apparently that's happened again with Lopetegui. There also seems to be no joined up thinking in what they're doing. Lopetegui and Potter are completely different types of manager. Did they consider Potter before or is this just a wild roll of the dice?

Big question marks around recruitment as well. Spent ~£150m in the summer and so far it's made them no better. Guess we'll see if Potter can make something of those players or whether the squad is not really there anymore.

Joao Pedro hurt his ankle this week in training. Injuries just don’t stop.

These semi finals being two legged is bullshit. Liverpool and Arsenal lost, them’s the breaks. Instead, both teams now get a second chance that none of the teams they beat to get there have had.

The final should be Newcastle vs Spurs.

  10. It is weird that one round is double leg and the rest of the tournament is single elimination

  11. I wonder if we’re about to have our Ramsdale/Raya type transition. Vicario has been pretty good for us, but clearly has a couple flaws. We will get a good look at Kinsky over the next several weeks, but if yesterday is any indication of what he brings, Vicario’s spot is up for grabs. Kinsky was phenomenal yesterday.

Some of those passes Kinsky were making yesterday were unreal. If he can be good at stopping corners, Vicario is gonna have tough competition

Wow, did not expect this on a game night. I guess Baines will take interim charge.

  16. I’ve seen Mourinho thrown out there as the next manager lol I’m here for it

Seen rumours today of us eyeing up Tiago Pinto (Bournemouth's DoF). There would be absolute limbs in my flat if we got Iraola, too

Currently a funny typo in that article, referring to TFG as FSG, saying they didn't want to pay the last six months of his contract.
