I just browsed through the last pages of this thread to get an update of the things that happend in the PL, and the main takeaway I got is that everyone is complaining about the tight schedule and about all players being exhausted.

And here I am, enjoying the winter break, attending some fun indoor football tournaments and slowly getting excited for Bundesliga to start again.

 

It’s very easy to laugh at Barcelona these days for the insanity off the pitch, but now that we’ve entered the 1:1 rule, there’s at least concrete evidence the steps being taken are working.

Now to actually get Olmo and Victor registered.

I’m not sure. I like Vicario but I’ve always gotten the sense that the team isn’t 100% sold on him.

 

Vicario is just SO bad at set pieces, it’s unbelievable. Which is a shame cause he’s a very good shot stopper.

 

I wonder if we’ll see one of our guys puking on the field today. Apparently a handful are playing through it.

 

Austin only has 19 competitive games in his career and he’s 25??

I need someone to explain to me why deflecting a pass with your hand straight into the path of a player who then scores…is allowed to stand

 

I think because it’s classed as ball to hand, and he was neither the goalscorer or assister.

 

It shouldn’t stand imo, but I think they changed the rules (again) recently

They said his arm was in a natural position. You can see in the replay below his arm moving outward and toward the ball. Yes, it’s by his side but his arm is making him wider. And then deflects it.

 

Burn should be off there.
