On the JAFFN podcast, they said that Cooper always looks like he's just got out of a headlock and it's the best observation I've heard.

Seeing a long list of targets for Spurs as we approach another transfer window just confirms that Paratici is still heavily involved in our scouting and transfer business. Which is a funny/wonderful thing. And his time with Spurs has been pretty interesting.

When the news of his ban first came out, the club was in a dark place. Constant drama with the manager(s) and a seemingly inadequate squad. His ban looked almost like a blessing because at the time, it didn’t feel like many of his signings were going to actually work out. Then came Ange and a fresh style of play. And we started to see a lot of the players he recruited standout. Despite all the chaos and drama and low points, we were still flipping the squad. It just didn’t feel like it because of all the other noise around the club.

Ange gets a lot of credit for the quick turn around, but I think Paratici deserves his own share of praise for how he’s been able to re-shape our team. And I’m glad Levy saw how strong his work had been and allowed him to stay in a consulting role despite his ban.

Ridiculous talent for his age. Last CB we had in his league was John Stones and look where he ended up. He'll probably break the transfer record for a defender at some point of his career.

 

If Chelsea would like to defend like that all night, that would be just fabulous.
