As we were just talking about him moving on the other day. That mandatory option is going to be a huge sticking point though.

  2. I know I mentioned this earlier, but now one of the actual reliable journalists for Spurs is putting it out there. Glad to see we’re moving early, or at least trying to do so.

Always like seeing UK players going abroad. Hope Phillips goes there and does really well.

He’s a case study of why moving to a stacked club like City isn’t always the best idea.

  4. Phillips kinda makes sense for Spurs. We need to add another CM. But I think we’ll probably look for someone a little younger. Gallagher makes the most sense but there are just too many obstacles for that deal to happen imo.

This is hands down the best schedule release I have seen. So nostalgic for me.

Sporting v Porto tonight. Porto usually have the upper hand BUT both teams are level on 31pts and a win for either will put them top of the league at the expense of Benfica. Could be worth a gander if you're free.

  7. Came across another compilation of players praising Mousa Dembele. I know saying this will invite some jokes, fine, but looking back it’s crazy to me that we didn’t win a single trophy during his era. The core of Kane, Eriksen, Dembele, Walker, Jan, Toby were so good. And we still couldn’t get it done lol

Just Marinakis things. After all Cooper has done for the club.

wowwwwww. I forgot about that game despite giving it hours of my precious summer breaks.

I played all of the different sports versions of it, the baseball one and the American Football one. I believe there also was a basketball one. The ones that had the kid versions of the real players were my favorite. Remember spending many hours on the old Compaq desktop playing this.

I tend to watch a bit of Portuguese football cause you see so many young talents just absolutely balling. Also I've seen to see Arsenal vs Sporting home and away so I tend to root for them.

Leagues best attack vs leagues best defence. Interesting game so far.

2-0 Sporting, but that was a crazy refereeing performance. He did everything but come out for the second half in a Porto kit and play in midfield.

    Also, Gyokeres is insanely good.

  15. Seems to be worth the €100m release clause. Spurs will never do it but we obviously have the money after selling Kane.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and United should all be looking at him tbh, but I doubt he moves until the summer

Oh piss. I had missed that we're playing Chelsea away tonight in the league cup. Wondering whether packing for going home for Christmas or watching that will be more painful.

I saw Chelsea play recently (not in person, like) and all I can say is I doubt it'll be painful for you tonight. Palmer looks a threat, particularly from distance cutting in from the right. Then there's Mudryk's pace down the left and Enzo showed some quality in pockets of space. Other than that, they don't look like the expensively assembled team that they are. I think if Howe sets Newcastle up right, you'll keep it nice and tight, you may even get a narrow win in normal time. Remember the game will go straight to pens if it's level at 90 minutes.

I've always liked Donny and wish it worked out for him, seems like a great guy and he's dealt with a lot of injuries in his time at United, but 6 starts in the league over 3 1/2 years while costing £40m, fuck me. He'll be back in the summer as well when Frankfurt inevitably don't exercise the buy option.

I'm going to stick to my guns and say he'll impress at Eintracht and that some club, if not Eintracht, will want him permanently. Of course, he must stay injury free.

Unfortunately, I think we'll be fielding a team with a mixture of players who are low on match fitness/returning from injury, players who are absolutely knackered and kids. I'm not sure how Howe will approach this, as we've got Luton away at the weekend. We have got some players back at least (defenders mostly), but I can see this being really disjointed and even if we play well, I can see us falling off a cliff around the 60-70 minute mark. Brace yourself for a Ritchie/Krafth double cameo.

Joelinton might be out, which is a huge miss for us.

Yeah I think he'll eventually show form again, and that the Bundesliga will suit him. January loan will be hard for him though, having not played all season. He's been fit I think, but getting into match shape will take a while, then if he doesn't hit form immediately, the loan is basically over. €11m as a buy option is quite a lot for a club like Frankfurt too. His career at United is over at this point though, so do imagine we'll shift him one way or the other over the summer.

Inevitably I’ll be proved wrong when they go on a 12 match unbeaten run, but that is actually mental lol.

Chelsea and Forest discovering that selling literally everyone and buying 35 new players is actually a dogshit idea? You love to see it.
