This is unreal start to the season. But who is gonna be the sub for Haaland now that Alvarez is gone? The first two seasons Pep was quick to sub him out on 2 goals.

 

Not just saying this as a United fan who wants to see the back of him, but would like to see Haaland at Barca in a couple of years as a Lewa replacement.

I think it’s the only real move that would make sense for him if he left City and it would be great for the game to have Mbappe’s Madrid vs Haaland’s Barca with both teams strong as possible fighting each other on all fronts. Just need to continue praying on City’s downfall. Even if they’re not brought down I could see Pep/KDB moving on as a reason for Haaland to move as well.

Side not, really like this year’s Barca home kit, reminds me of Henry-Eto’o-Messi era.

Probably an unpopular opinion in here but I think it would be terrible for the game to have another decade of Real and Barca dominating European football.

 

I just want the teams challenging for hardware to be the best versions of themselves. As a United fan I’ll say that the Premier League is better for having stronger Arsenal and Liverpool sides compared to how it was a decade ago. Similar to how I find Serie A to be a much more compelling watch with stronger Milan teams and a powerful Juventus.

I don’t want any competition to be dominated by any side or two as much as a want competitive title races with teams at peak quality.

 

Happy 9-year anniversary to this goal. The pass from Ayew is incredible and he made it look so easy on the outside of his foot. Then the calm finish and the awesome celebration.
