Let me guess, they want an unpaid loan + option far below what we want.

Also, Bobb out for multiple months probably guarantees a Haaland backup signing this transfer window.

Bobb being out is going to push Silva back out to the right instead of playing more centrally this season. Really needing a Rodri backup so not sure if this is going to delay that happening and we sign someone who can play more centrally while also playing a false 9. Interested to see how the club reacts.

The league’s socials have posted a bunch of pundit predictions and Tim Sherwood has Arsenal finishing 2nd as his bold prediction, man never was the sharpest tool in the box.

I would say Arsenal are in trouble but we all know this just means City will get more penalties.

In preseason we’ve seemingly moved away from using Ben White for blocking. Still scored from two headers against Lyon so we’ll see.

That said, it’s just our luck that we got bullied at set pieces for 15 years, and the moment we become the best at them, the rules get changed.

I kind of wrote it off due to the move being such an inevitability, but watching Mbappe with this Madrid team is just as scary as you would think it is.

Is Kalvin Phillips still a statement signing after how it went for him at West Ham?

It'll be good depth for us, plus I wonder if having a full season with a team might make a difference.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Poch is fast becoming football management's Fernando Alonso; loads of talent and absolute no sense when it comes to career decisions.

I wonder if he'll even survive long enough to lead them into a home WC.

Official. It’ll be nice to be able to root for him again. Hope it goes well. Not sure if his style will translate to an international level. But I’m still excited and honestly shocked they got him.

Honestly, his 4-2-3-1 fixes a lot of the middle of the pitch issues I saw under Gregg. But pretty much guarantees one of Musah, McKennie, Weah, or Reyna is on the bench (if Adams and Pulisic are healthy; otherwise the missing person fits) unless he plays one of the AMs as a #9 and benches a true CF.

  20. Porch really making some interesting choices since leaving Spurs. PSG and Chelsea, two of the more toxic clubs. Now USMNT where expectations will be sky high simply because we host the WC.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

  24. ST: Solanke, Richarlison
    LW: Son, Werner, Moore
    RW: Kulusevski, Johnson

Kulusevski will probably see a lot of time in a more central role, either as a 10 or an attack-minded 8. He’s honestly looked more effective in this role. And it allows more game time for Johnson, who I believe is underrated and will keep improving. Johnson and Moore can play either side which also helps them see minutes. Werner has his faults, but will be a great player off the bench and for Europa games.

It’s pretty solid depth as it stands now. But we are apparently looking to add another winger. Probably one who plays on the right side. We’re running out of time for that move though.

    AM: Maddison, Bergvall
CM: Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Gray, Skipp

Skipp will probably be sold. Bissouma should be sold, but probably won’t be this window. I think we have a really good group of midfielders, but we do need a top 6 to add some stability. Gray could be the answer but he’s so young.

    LB: Udogie, Davies
    CB: Romero, VDV, Dragusin, Davies
    RB: Porro, Spence

The starters are great. The depth is not. We really need some help on the left side. I like Davies and the leader he’s been for Spurs, but I do not want to rely on him if someone on the left side goes down.

So with a few weeks left in the window…RW, DM, LCB/LB are the big needs. Hopefully we can make 1-2 of these happen. But overall, I’m pretty happy with how the squad looks right now.

YouTube recommended me a compilation on Chelsea fan streamers/groups live reacting to when we beat them 5-0 at the Emirates.

It is truly delightful watching them be so sad, especially when Kai Havertz scores twice and one guy chucks at his Chelsea mug at the wall lol.
