    Hopefully nothing serious.

the second half the team looked like they never played soccer before. It was rough.

I do like AWB but I understand getting value from him while you still hopefully can

Bayern’s new CB signing Hikori broke his foot last night, don’t see them moving on from De Ligt now.

oh dear, would be bummed if anything materializes

Notwithstanding not having a clear starting 6, I do quite like Endo even if he is best as a rotational/depth option. Love the mouthguard. Unfortunately, Endo was by far the worst senior performer against Betis the other night. Gets caught on the ball more than you'd like, is his best self when he moves the ball on quick even if it's not necessarily a progressive pass

If we don't get another DM in, this puts a lot of pressure on Mac Allister playing in not his best position, Jones staying fit (played part of a double pivot in the u21 euros in 2023 that England won), and relying on Bajcetic who essentially missed an entire year with injury / growing pains

plus whatever the club decides to do with Tyler Morton who seems like he could be bit of a baller, very comfortable on the ball, were some transfer rumors to Leipzig earlier this summer

Spain just won the u19 Euros. The machine keep churning for the future, too.

Reports Nico Williams has decided to stay at Bilbao. Great stuff (if true).

In my FM save, Everton got relegated in 2028 and have spent two years in the midtable of the Championship, and in 26/27 Man Utd finished 16th.

Even weirder, Chelsea went into administration in the summer of 2030 and were deducted 9 points.

I have absolutely no idea how that has happened but I’m okay with it.

Any Barca fans know how much they're wanting for Roque? I'm surprised there's not links to English clubs for him, or is it a case of the player not wanting to move regardless?

It’s a shame that OT will go, but this is much overdue and a horrible indictment on the club and previous ownership’s for not investing in the stadium

I believe that would make it the largest stadium in Europe, unseating Camp Nou.

It's already a 74k capacity stadium and they come very close to selling it out all the time, might as well go bigger, more match day revenue etc

It'd also be 10k more than Wembley, so they can say "look, we got the biggest stadium in England!" which is prestigous (I guess?)

  20. Kulusevski did an interview with Alasdair Gold and there were a couple interesting parts.

First, Kulu talked about the difference in training this pre-season. Basically says the coaches are a lot more involved and directive. And this goes along with what Ange kept preaching last season. He repeatedly said the first season was about the players learning and adapting to his philosophy…the second season becomes more tactics-focused. And I think that’s what Kulu is describing. Makes me excited to see how much we can improve.

Second, he talked about playing in a more central role toward the end of last season and how he enjoyed it. He also said that’s where he’s been playing in training this pre-season. I think he’s better suited there for Ange ball, so this is good news imo. Also means we’re likely adding another winger.

Didn't realize it was 74K. Thought it was 50-60K

If Barcelona can really get 108m for Raphinha from the Saudis, talk about a coup.
