We've got 10 people. Works best with 12, 16, or 24. Suspect we won't have a problem getting to those first two numbers.

In setting up the document where I set up the draw, I just discovered the US is the 3rd highest ranked team in the Copa. Also didn't realize how far Chile had fallen since their mid-10s highs.

Shit that happens when your best player plays for Sheffield United instead of Barcelona lol

  5. So we get a Copa team and a Euro team?

Yeah. I was thinking we'd do a points system:

    Group Stage Win: 3
    Group Stage Tie: 1

    Knockout Win: 3
    Knockout Advancement Via Penalties: 2
    Knockout Elimination Via Penalties: 1

Cumulative points of both teams across both tournaments.

If we have 12 people, it's two Euros and one Copa. Currently at 10. (11 if that @bobby_runs like I just got means "me too")

16 is one each/the cap. That would leave 8 Euro teams we could put up for sale as dark horses if the higher ranked 16 don't all win.

Yeah, I'd be in if we can get to 12.

Doing pretty much the opposite, personally. Enjoying the summer and recharging my batteries so to speak.

This is an Arsenal blog, but his writing is always excellent and he talks about what City are trying to do with the announcement yesterday of new legal action.

You can’t rail against a cartel when you have won 6 of the last 7 Premier League titles. You are the cartel… Ultimately, what City want is to be able do whatever they want financially, without any oversight, and in a way which will skew an already barely competitive landscape even further in their favour.”

“What City are doing here is an existential threat to the Premier League as we know it.”

    115 and now this ...

    CHORUS.FM CHARITY FANTASY DRAW: EURO-COPA 24 EDITION

As always, winner chooses the charity where everyone donates the $5 buy-in.

We currently have 12 people. This year we will cap at 16, so still room for four more. I will adjust the draw/teams based on current FIFA rankings. Not sure if I will sort by tournament or highest ranked teams yet.

LOL @ City’s chairman saying it’s disappointing that the on pitch success is mired by constant mentions of the charges against them

god damn dude I know a good way you could’ve avoided that

2 vs 18 and you have journalists saying it’s splitting the league. I really wonder how much City pay them given how fucking easy of a time they get from the English journalists.

Money talks at Premier League HQ, unfortunately. Hypothetically, let's say the two teams are City and Newcastle? I really don't think a literal split down the middle of 10 and 10 is required. No offense to @Platy, like, but are the likes of Ipswich even at the table in the eyes of the Premier League?

The Premier League threatened the English FA when it broke off.
As a City supporter, I do find the EOS interviews a little corny. I personally can't stand the way he talks in interviews but it's probably been focus-grouped to death that it works.

Seems like most PL teams should be interested other than Villa and Newcastle

  22. Spurs were looking at him before he moved to City. So I’d imagine if he’s available now that we’d still be interested. And I’ve read that we want some premier league proven players. So him and Toney seem like our best options at ST.

Really hope he doesn't end up at PSG as his career will tail off and I like him.

  24. PSG are dumb. I know they’re losing Mbappe, but they just bought both Goncalo Ramos and Kolo Muani last year. Two very good young strikers. I don’t know why they’re trying to buy another expensive option at that position.
