That half couldn’t have gone any better. Couple of early goals, get the lads most at risk of suspension off. Kill the game off and give the key guys a rest. Ease to another clean sheet.

There’s going to be so much excitement all over the country after that. Southgate has silenced his doubters and got them onside. Kane has woke up and is bagging goals. Home advantage and a loud crowd. It’ll be a tough game vs Denmark but this a massive opportunity for the team.

 

I said it pre-tournament, I'll believe in Southgate until he gives me a reason not to. I didn't hold myself to that, and I definitely doubted him and his team sheet a little in the 2nd and 3rd group stage games but look at what he's done, we're in the semis without a single goal conceded. Can't really complain that much imo.
