I could not be more happier for my boy Zinny. Just a great story all around.

The real winners of that match are England, who will take on a knackered and injury ridden Ukraine.

As a Scot, I would like to confirm that we have stretchers but they are actually sponsored by Irn Bru.

Edit: also kidding, but Irn Bru is the national drink so....

Sorry, this is the worst take. Sterling's off the ball movement is fantastic. He opens up space for other players with his unselfish runs off the ball. I'm begging anyone who doesn't rate Sterling to just watch how important his running is to drag defenders with him and create room for his teammates. He's one of the most unselfish wingers I've watched. And he barely did anything wrong today? He was one of England's best players today and has been one of their best all tournament.

Grealish should start, but in place of Saka, who was good in the first half and deserved to start, but faded badly in the second half.

Kane is either fit or lacking confidence. Think they needed him to drop deeper a bit more last night (although Goretzka and Kroos managed to shrink that space at times last night), he's just so isolated.

I'd still start him next game. If he's not fit, play Sterling as a false nine with Grealish and Saka/Sancho running in behind.

    I do not exist.

I think Kane has looked tired but I also think these tactics are not utilising him at all. We saw in the 86th minute what he can do if we use his skills. Right place, right time, always.

I love that Sterling is single handedly sending a message to all the people who racially abuse him (and others) all the time. How do our racist football fans cope knowing his goals have got us this far...?! You’ve got to love it!

I thought Sterling had a good game, too. I understand the selfish shouts, it can be infuriating when he's on a mazy run and he doesn't thread a pass to a better option. However, his work off the ball is key to Southgate's system. Furthermore, how can you argue with a 15 in 20 goal record? Of course, there is an argument whether or not Sancho, Saka, Grealish or even Rashford could do the same job from the wing but I don't think Southgate needs to find that out as it's working with Sterling.

In other news, can we just take a minute to say a big fuck off to the boards of Everton and Spurs for both leaking news on their questionable managerial searches in the aftermath of the England result. It's almost as if they've done it on purpose so the fan bases of both clubs can't rightfully question the decision making and hold their respective boards accountable.

Wasn't saying Grealish should start over Sterling. I understand the role Sterling plays for England, but you can't disagree that too many attacks die through him when he tries to overdo it (see the Muller chance as a good example). Sterling's great in the box, outside the box though he needs to be less selfish and play the simple pass more often.

I missed the extra time last night. Sad for Sweden as I think they were very good in the 90.

Reports Sassuolo want €40m in one go for Locatelli, and that Dortmund and Arsenal are willing to pay it. Juventus only offering €15m and one player so looks doubtful for them.
