If you’ve never had the absolute pleasure of spending a week in Budapest, I highly recommend it. Lovely people. Lovely sights. Lovely food. And those thermal spas will send you to heaven.

I love that Hungary are fearlessly pursuing a goal. I’m terrified that Mbappe and Dembele will make them pay greatly for pace in stoppage time.

Has anyone looked great so far? Other than Italy I don’t think so. No one is a stand out so far.

 

Italy is the clear favorite for me at this point, but Belgium and the Netherlands have looked good.

 

Netherlands look ropey defensively though. They very nearly messed up the other night with some pretty dumb defending. Attacking wise though, they make it look easy.

Italy look ominous now. Only thing is that I have no idea whether Turkey are any good, but Switzerland are typically decent and they just swept them away.

 

Yeah the Switzerland game is what I’m basing my point on. That’s a very organised side and Italy made them look amateur at times.

 

VAR is probably gonna take it away, but what a finish that was.
