While I agree with this. The pushback I have heard is that he does not fit a 4 at the back system and the role he plays at Leipzig is absolutely the best scenario for him. He ends up almost as a midfielder/winger for them in their system and he does not have to track back as much as he would if he was in a back four. Not sure how much I buy that but he is in scintillating form right now and probably the best defender in the Budesliga this year so far.

 

He’s got nothing wrong but fuck this ref. He’s so desperate to be the main man out on the pitch.
