Yeah, I've been playing a lot of FM20 too. Working from home has it's benefits I guess.

I may have asked this before, but if I was looking for a United 2008 home shirt (the one with the stripe down the back) for a decent price, where might I be able to find one? I've checked eBay but they're all either XL or don't look in great nick.

Classicfootballshirts.co.uk but they aren’t fulfilling orders because of covid. DHgate if you want a fake one

Have driven myself absolutely insane at work this afternoon trying to do this challenge:

    Oblak (Slovenia, Atletico Madrid)
Lahm (Germany, Bayern), Van Dijk (Netherlands, Liverpool), ?, Marcelo (Brazil, Real Madrid)
Lampard (England, Chelsea), De Bruyne (Belgium, City), Donovan (USA, Galaxy (we all know Bayern doesn't count))
Messi (Argentina, Barcelona), Di Natale (Italy, Udinese), Mbappe (France, PSG)

I'm sure I'm making a mistake in here somewhere... I kept running into brief club overlaps in many I thought through. I didn't double check these, but nothing popped out in my mind.

Trying to fill that last spot, I had conflicts with: Dani Alves, Pique, Ramos, Thiago Silva, Rafa Marquez, Puyol, Rio Ferdinand...

Can't have Lampard and De Bruyne. They've both been at Chelsea and City.

  9. I'm going to make mine based on my fandom, not my lifetime. I'm sure there are players from the 90s and early 00s that are worthy and won't be on my list. But these are the best from what I've actually watched.

    4231 - wide formation

    Robert Lewandowski

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
    Heung-Min Son - Rooney - Lionel Messi
N'Golo Kante - Kevin De Bruyne
Marcelo - Virgil Van Dijk - Diego Godin - Phillip Lahm
    Gianluigi Buffon

Kante and De Bruyne are were both at Chelsea at some point. :D

It's not clear from the tweet whether it means ever at the same club or at the same club together.

Ah, yeah, forgot about Lampard's traitor year and Mourinho's De Bruyne mistake. It's a tough challenge!

I'm sat pondering if I can manage it. The best players end up at the same handful of clubs and the loyal ones are basically all Italian. :crylaugh:

Don't go wasting your Real Madrid vote on Marcelo for heaven's sake.

During the threepeat, there was no player more exciting to watch (defensive liabilities and all) than Marcelo on that entire team. He also had some of the most vital goals in those campaigns, too.

Suddenly realizing I don't have a Spanish national team player in my 11, I would drop Marcelo and put in Xabi Alonso.

Not denying Marcelo's quality on the ball but way too many players immediately miss out by putting him left back, especially when he was never the best defensively.

It is really difficult though. Keep thinking I'm done and then realising I'm not. Quarantine life in microcosm.

    -----------------Aubameyang--------------

I think I've got it now. The only possible problem I can see is whether Aubameyang counts as Milan (with Maldini), but he never actually made a first team appearance so I'm going to say he didn't 'play' for them.

  21. Amazon doc every season

  22. I wonder if Spurs could get a streaming deal for all of their matches with Amazon. They could even broadcast some of the bigger youth and women’s matches.

No. Premier league tv rights are for the league as a whole. Same with continental competitions.

  24. bummer. Maybe they’ll just buy the league rights one day lol

Seems like Ashley is finally selling Newcastle, for real this time. 80% ownership to the royal Saudi family.
