i don’t know that there IS a good choice besides Pep. maybe take a risk on Xavi. MAYBE.

  3. Is ten Hag unrealistic? I’ve seen him linked but nothing indicating it’s an actual possibility.

My previous joke post aside, I really think that if ten Hag decides to leave Ajax he will go to Bayern in the summer. He was the coach of our reserves in the past and has said that since then Bayern is his favorite team and that he closely follows us.

With that said, I would be perfectly content if we kept Flick as a coach. Since he took over we look like a completely different team and if it wasn't for those freak losses against Leverkusen and Gladbach we would be top of the league already.

I've never seen a team persist with something they are so obviously terrible at as Arsenal are with playing out from the back. Every single time it happens they end up giving up and lumping it up field to lose possession, or giving up a big chance. None of the players know what they're doing with it, just continually passing it back and forth, making no progress, before going back to Leno who boots it away.

Funnily enough, Xhaka was easily our best player today. Not often that can be said.

Also the away fans chanting "Arsenal fan TV - Get out of our club" was a highlight of a drab game.

The youngsters looked decent but it's clear that the squad is horrifically under coached and we have literally no full backs who aren't injured.

  11. Arteta is on paper a superb hire. I know he’s inexperienced but if his tactics are heavily influenced by Pep then Arsenal will be a fun team. I’d like to see them play a coherent attacking 433.

    2015-2016:
    Vardy - Okazaki
    Albrighton - Drinkwater - Kante - Mahrez
    Fuchs - Huth - Morgan - Simpson
    Schmeicel

    2019-2020
    Vardy
    Barnes - Maddison - Perez
    Ndidi - Tielemans
Chilwell- Soyuncho - Evans - Pereira
    Schmeicel

This year’s team is better, right?

edit: actually maybe not. Vardy, Mahrez, and Kante were all so good that season.

It’ll be a miracle if we win this. Horrendous opening 20. Absolutely awful.

Watford have been by far the better team and really should be ahead.

I was gonna write some slightly humorous post about that game. But honestly I can’t.

Ole has to go. For the good of the club.
