I cannot believe we won that. Shite second half, but we contained spurs. Big big improvement though. The first 25 minutes were the best we’ve played in a while.

 

Miserable first half, and then the team looked lifeless in the second up until that last ten minutes. Sigh.

 

Lo Celso is 100% not a Mourinho player.

 

I figured. And Ndombele just doesn’t look like he’s up to fitness to play a full game which really sucks

 

Just look at number 3 and you know what a joke of an award it is.

That said Messi surely deserved it. There are certainly points to make about some other players but it is in no way undeserved.

 

Lewandowski is now better than Ronaldo (and has been for at least two years) is my hot take for today.

 

McTominay is so so good. He was fantastic tonight. Only had one light training session yesterday and puts in a performance like that. Love him.

I just read that Rapinoe played a total of 6 club games all year. She must have been an absolute monster in each of them to win this award...

Yeah that second half was one of his best performances for us outside of the champions league. Made up for the Spurs goal.

Newcastle are fast becoming counter attack only. We basically play with no possession and just try to trick teams with the quick guys at the front. It's so basic and it seems to be kind of working, when we actually show up. Did not expect to get a damn thing out of Sheffield United tonight.

 

Ugh. MLS needs relegation. Have it be a rolling thing for like 5 years so expansion owners don’t get fucked.
