The term "ultras" is not really consistent between different countries. For Italy it might be true that the "ultras" can fuck off, but for other countries there's nothing wrong with having them. Here in Germany "ultras" just means fans that regularly travel to away games and organize tifos (basically all the people that go the extra mile besides only watching the game). I don't see a problem with them.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think in the UK, when fans are referred to as ultras, it's typically the lunatics who cause problems. I don't know that we necessarily refer to what you're talking about as ultras. We don't really talk about the British teams as having ultras. Fans who create flags and travel all over the place to watch the games are just fans as far as I know.

If think the two of them along with PSG are the best sides in Europe at the moment. Barca/Juve/Bayern behind them, and then whoever else.

Apparently the US only had 37% of possession against Canada last night. It didn’t feel that low watching it, but the entire game was very disjointed. Thankfully, we were quite ruthless when it came to finishing. Jordan Morris is in the best form of his young career thus far.

I’d be really interested in seeing him take a risk and go abroad.

Also for all the shit he gets, Zardes’ second goal was a belter.

    Great finish from Winks.

  10. Harry Kane becoming the first ever England player to score in every game of an international qualifying campaign.

    8 games: 12 goals, 5 assists

Why does some of the English media want him to be replaced?

    hmmm

That's a poor way to treat a manager who took you to a Champions League final.

  22. The CL final run overshadowed how poor the team played the last half of the domestic season. I'm absolutely devastated that he is gone and I don't think firing him is the answer to whatever the problems are at the club. But the league results have been really, really bad since the beginning on 2019.

I really feel like they're going to spiral the rest of the season into next. I'm nervous.
