Yuck

 

Depressing news. Dembélé and Alderweireld will definitely be gone next summer as both of their contracts will be up, and we still don't have a decent second striker. If we could have signed at least one holding midfielder this would have been a decent window.

 

Alderweireld has a year extension, but yeah he'll probably be gone next summer as he will have a £25m release clause when Spurs trigger the extension.

 

At least the last hour of the window will make my last 2 hours go in that bit quicker. Still surprised that Man Utd have done no business for defenders. Fosu-Mensah to Fulham would be a great piece of business.

 

Fulham have had a pretty good window imo.

 

Fulham and Wolves will do well this season I think.

No singings is weird. And sad. But still have a very good team (especially if Toby is staying). Disappointing but not the end of the world. Top-4 still a realistic possibility.

I'm in, couldn't think of a good name this year so went with last season's. Time to defend my title!

 

Hard to imagine Tottenham being the first team in the history of the Premier League not to sign a player in a summer transfer window.

Ipswich have dodged a bullet with Wigan hijacking their move for Windass. A lad with decent skill who never ever shows up when needed. All sauce and no meat.

 

Dont want to sign players for a manager that wont be here come the January transfer window.

 

Window was doomed the second Fellani agreed his new contract. Don't even know why I got my hopes up.

Say what you want about City and Pool, but they know their weaknesses and have fixed them. City had no full backs a year ago? Spunk £100 million on 3 new ones. Liverpool a laughing stock due to their defence? £150 million on a new keeper and CB.

Meanwhile United have 3 LW yet no RW and Young and Valencia as starting fullbacks. Fucking joke.

Don't get me wrong, Fred is a fantastic signing, will offer a lot in midfield. But not even attempting to fix such glaring weak spots is so annoying.

 

The decision to roll with Valencia/Dalot & Young/Shaw as fullbacks is asinine
