Adam Crafton and The Athletic are doing some fantastic work around the whole Greenwood situation. Embarrassing that they're the only ones really holding the club's feet to the fire.

 

The podcast they put out yesterday was great if anyone wants more damning details.

Hopefully, his team "mates" pull rank, particularly Rashford. I feel like they will hold a certain level of power in all of this. I guess they are most likely "gagged", though.

It's really weird. I've never been in a changing room environment like that but there's some level of like brotherhood or something. These type of stories always come up, sportspeople being pieces of shit, and yet there's never any level of dressing room revolt.

If I found out a coworker was a rapist, or an abuser, or all the other horrible shit some of these sportspeople do, I wouldn't be able to share an office with them.

 

Exactly the same, it's because we're respectable humans.

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to raise something with the folks on this site regarding Fantasy/Greenwood. After some deliberation, I've decided as admin of the league to declare our league as a non-Greenwood zone in the event he's given the opportunity to play for United again and therefore be reinstated into the game.

It is my belief, if you were to back Greenwood in Fantasy, you'd be backing him to be a success again. On a personal level, I don't believe he should be given the opportunity to rehabilitate, absolutely not at the highest level anyway. Judging by the reaction towards him on this site, I'm consciously aware I'm probably not alone with this viewpoint. I'm also aware that some probably didn't even need me to write this as they've got the same sensibilities as myself.

As adults, I respect that sometimes we disagree, so if you disagree with this decision then feel free to converse with me regarding your concerns. All the best for the gameweek ahead!

These are all heavily rumored. Hopefully we start to actually see the moves happen. We need 2-3 more signings, have the money to do it, but way too big of a squad.

 

It's too late for this season as we'd all have to use wildcards to fix it... but maybe next season, we should do a "no Haaland" rule for fantasy. Make it spicy.

 

Whilst that would be cool, I'm in quite a few leagues with friends etc. And would just get annihilated without Haaland. CBA running multiple teams too.

I may be wrong but I believe Rashford doesn’t like Greenwood.

 

It was well known before all of this that he was a bit of a twat tbf. But nobody thought it was this bad. Supposedly that was why he never did media duties or anything similar, because United knew he was a bit unpleasant and wanted to hide it.

I often think back to when he and Foden broke covid restrictions to cheat on their partners in Iceland whilst on international duty. Everyone just said “oh boys will be boys”/“they’re just young men”, but I wonder if it perhaps was illustrative of something more.
