I wonder what happens long term with the Saudi league. I don’t see it imploding like the Chinese league as it’s govt backed. But like what exactly is the end game of this? They’ve pulled out of the running for the 2030 WC. Do they actually want to make the Saudi league one of the best in the world long term, or is this a big splash and spending will be curtailed in future windows to cement them as a top Asian league rather than the current approach.

 

I guess there's no equivalence to ffp in Saudi Arabia huh.
