Joelinton just so comfortable sitting on the pitch with his boot off wasting time.

Really wasn't expecting that late goal + assist from Wilson but fuck yes! My top 10k dream isn't over.

My season basically over with it. Bet on Isak and got my Captain wrong. The point swing with the goal, assist, and likely bonuses has effectively finished me.

did you captain him? I chickened out and massively regret it. But the pick is likely going to be the reason I move to 1st in my mini league so I’m pleased.

Yeah, I did. I nearly chickened out, too, because of his injury record. That's why I said earlier in this thread that I was over the moon the injury rumours were false.

Sheffield Wednesday lost the first leg of their League 1 play off 4-0 to Peterborough.

They are 3-0 up in the second leg and have 20 minutes to chase an equaliser. What a game.

    MLS = MLM

Such a trash league and system we have in this country.

I say this as a very self-aware Brit who knows the crowd issues we have, but -

What's with Dutch fans recently? Feels like it's every week that a game gets affected with violence, games getting abandoned etc. It's all kicking off at AZ Alkmaar - West Ham now too.

The Dutch and French fans have been extra spicy this year. Seems more unusual for the Dutch fans.

Apparently, they are doing it on purpose to protest against new laws in the Netherlands to prevent hooliganism. Quite the rationale, right?

    hmmm

Can only imagine how smug Mourinho's going to be — Roma having just one shot in the entire second leg but still grinding out the 0-0 needed to get through to the Europa League final.

Wow you can actually sent off a player for time wasting, who would've thought

5-5! Peterborough took the lead but Wednesday have got another back. 8 minutes until penalties!

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Well, I thought Newcastle dishing out a beating last night (third place is still on if we can hold it together for two more macthes) would be interesting news for a Thursday, but I guess Wednesday and AZ had other ideas.

My friend was at Hillsborough and it looks wild. Can't imagine many went in genuinely thinking they could overturn 4-0 and even having done that, they then concede an own goal in extra time and have to recover that. Absolutely insane. I hope they manage to win the final now.

As for the AZ West Ham match, it all looks a bit of a mess. The stuff in the ground looks organised and maybe fortunate that the ultras there appear to be mostly kids. The clip of them breaking the fence down to swarm the away stand is frightening. There's also a clip of the fans fighting in the street yesterday before the game (although that looks more organised between both sets). I can see this biting back on West Ham badly. A handful of their players were getting stuck into the stewards to try getting to the AZ fans.

I get that their family and friends were in that stand, but I can see UEFA taking a very harsh view of that part of it.

I've seen a few comments around Twitter saying that there was trouble in the reverse fixture, but I don't recall any mention of that at the time?

Ha! Now you understand the pain Europeans feel. I gave up on following the NFL thread here because at one stage, literally everything was region locked to the US lol.

Just seen that video of the two West Ham fans who block the AZ ultras from reaching the families of the players. My god, a very real “you shall not pass” moment.

Some people are just damn hard.

I captained him too - couldn't decide between transferring in him or Isak so I literally flipped a coin and let that decide for me; I got very, very lucky hahaha. Looks like I am only 17 points behind you in the Chorus league now, will be an interesting last few gameweeks!

Hard not to feel sad reading some of that, injuries have robbed him of so much
