  2. I just can't stand the way he looks lol it's the hair style I think

  3. I hope Forest stay up after all the money they spent over the summer. They bought so many new players it's not too surprising they struggled this season (look at Chelsea). But if they can stay up and figure out what names stay, who goes, as well as add a couple more, I think they could be a solid team.

    It's all hell.

    Great game this

    hmmm

We're firmly into the mad portion of the season now, where games become almost impossible to predict.

When was the last time all three promoted teams stayed up? Looks like it will happen this season.

21 goals from the three matches today

I wonder how many goals occur on average during a matchweek

I think I have read that the average is around 2.5-2.65 a game in the PL. I guess it fluctuates depending on randomness and fixtures, but that would make the average as 25-26.5 goals a gameweek.

Antonio and Wilson laughing at Richarlison’s bad luck amused me

  11. It’s really weird that Fab refuses to acknowledge Miami.

For me, Messi already "tarnished" his legacy going to PSG but part of me hopes he ends up back at Barca to try and build some bridges with the football community. If he goes to Saudi Arabia for some sort of shitty "Saudi clasico" incarnation v Ronaldo then I just feel that would such a waste...again.

I have no evidence for this but I feel while Messi is happy to do sportswashing for Saudi Arabia he draws the line at playing there for an extended period of time.

if he goes back to Barcelona, I can guarantee you wouldn't regret visiting that wonderful city

  16. that’s very true but my Charlotte season tickets are 9th row and that’s the closest I’d ever get to watching him play lol

Ahh, yes. getting paid $1 million+/weel and causing a club to almost go under is perfectly fine!

You're talking about Barca, right? I'm assuming there would be some form on constituency plan in place to prevent that from happening. I read something about FFP? Obviously I wouldn't want Barca going under lol

I just think it's a weird line to draw. I can't stand the mentality that it's ok for the older clubs to spend all this cash on players but not a newer form of a club.

Think there's the sportswashing side of it as well with the Qatari money at PSG.

Messi's wage at Barca was the least of their problems anyway, even if it was $1m/week. The club bankrupted themselves with +$100m signings that didn't work out and wages for bang average players above $400,000/week.

Fab not mentioning Inter Miami tells me that it’s very much an offer Messi hopes to not have to take.

Thomas Muller has two offers from MLS clubs, apparently. That's who you really want to see! @Swoos

God I hope City get pumped tonight, but I just have a feeling they're going to come out and make a statement.

City continually missing out on the Champions League is always funny but I'm so bored of Real Madrid finding their way through, I'd like City to beat them. And then get embarrassed in the final obviously.

That would be optimal hilarity but I just can't take the nerves of City getting that close to a treble.
