Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Yeah, I’ll take that. They looked like they cared for once and it wasn’t terrible to watch.

@Swoos Charlotte against Orlando City in the next round of the Open Cup. With the way the league match went earlier this season, y’all have a pretty good chance against us.

  5. It's been a really weird season so far for us. But I think once we get Corujo (our top CB) and Kahlina (starting keeper), it could help us turn things around. Our last 6 matches we are 2W 3D 1L....which is very mediocre but it feels even worse because of how the draws happened. We've given so many poor, poor goals to our opponents and it's cost of points. I think the injuries have really hurt our defense.

And then of course there's also the death of Walkes (our other starting CB) in the pre-season and I'm sure it's made for a very tough start to the season for the players.

Would be a ridiculously smart signing for them.

I hate to say because they’re a great club being run by an absolute circus of clowns, but that Everton performance had “slow slide to relegation” written all over it.

Weirdly, from the outside, I don’t think Dyche has done that badly. But their defence is a car crash of individual errors and apathy, and they lack a goal scorer.

Have to agree with all you've said, pal. It looks like we're going to go down without a whimper. Moreover, I'm certain the game v Leicester on Monday night will confirm what many of us already know.

@SamLevi11 @Thrillcollinz and other Arsenal fans I may have forgotten. Would you sell Balogun to fund moves in the summer or try keep him at all costs?

If it helps, I think you’ll bounce back in a season or two. But it depends if you can keep some of your better players really.

Who do you think will stay, and who will be offloaded?

Honestly, it depends on if he is okay being a backup. He’s a natural goalscorer but he doesn’t seem brilliant at the link up play that we thrive off of. If he wants to go, I’d sell him for £40m and a sell on. But I’d rather sell Eddie and keep him.

Balogun should go to like Betis or Sociedad for 2 years and then he'll be ready.

I think he’d be good for a team like Villa or Brighton. Especially if he was a rotation where there is less pressure.

I think a lot of them will (unfortunately) stay on in the Championship except for the obvious departures of Onana, Pickford (apparently he has a relegation clause in his contract and Spurs are interested) and maybe DCL if a PL club wants to take the risk. They've proved themselves to be Championship quality this season and I doubt the older players will have many suitors considering the wages their on.

Could really do with a Dortmund winner for the neutral.

    It's all hell.

Completely agree with @SamLevi11 . I really hoped that Nketiah would have made a bigger splash than he has done this year, but as dumb as I probably am, I believe in Arteta's vision, so if that means cashing in on Balogun to bring in a Rice, sure let's do it.

Who could have seen this coming?

Apparently players want to leave, even those on long term deals. Players not wanting to fo anything together, unsettled, pay issues, think the club is being run appallingly.

Doesn’t sound like a club that will bounce back to the CL soon to me.

No sympathy to any of those new players. You absolutely knew what you were signing up for and getting into, any fan paying attention could’ve told these kids not to go to Chelsea if they actually cared about their long term development and career.

Chants of "That's how your cat feels" as Zouma walks off injured. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Nantes v Toulouse in the French cup final tonight should be a good one. Neither team is one of the historically "big" teams in France but both have enough about themselves to make it an interesting watch!

Well, Nantes is hard to gauge because they are actually the fifth most successful team in French history. It’s just all of them were a long time ago aha.

Palace 3 - 2 West Ham after 35 minutes. Chaos game

Ironically, that makes them the Everton of France haha. Shame on me for not considering them a "big" team.
