I know it’s with 3/4 of a different defence but it’s mad that we have joint most clean sheets in the league.

Ah so this is another game we’re we could or should be 4 or 5 up and we’ll end up drawing. Love it boys.

I’m spamming the thread, but Forest were abysmal. I can’t see them staying up if that’s what the offer up against a team either ravaged by injuries or lacking match fitness.

Really mature performances from Bruno the last few weeks when he’s been needed to step up and show true leadership, he can be so frustrating when he’s rushing things but the extra level of calm and composure recently means he’s been dominating games

Bruno has been so good in the deeper role the last few weeks. Took that level of performance 5 yards further up the pitch today.

silver lining to sabitzer pulling out today was him having to perform like that as a 10

Anyone see that clip of Rebecca Lowe pressing the guys really hard on if Arsenal blew their title chances. The Robbies were not taking the bait either.

Yeah all that stuff is so dumb. Good on them for pushing back.

We have a shallower squad, the youngest team and manager in the league, we finished 8th two seasons ago, and we're missing half of our defence. Plus, we're up against a juggernaut who have the best striker, playmaker, and manager in the world, the backing of an entire country, and over 100 charges of financial doping hanging over them. The fact we're competing is crazy, and whatever happens, we've done well.

It's just done to generate outrage and "content". If our opponents were 2015/16 Leicester or 2010/11 United (to name two off the top of my head who won without being incredible) then fair enough. But City are crazy good. Like, possibly the best team ever levels of good. I don't think coming second to that means you "bottle it".

People say Spurs bottled the league when we were never in first place to begin with.

That kind of talk is always dumb, and I hate to always compare things to Spurs, but absolutely guarantee if it were Spurs in the same spot the bottle talk would be relentless lol

  18. I'm still on the fence about Enrique. I like him as a manager but his preferred system would require us to overhaul a few positions and build up the squad over a couple seasons. Which, in theory, is fine because whatever we're doing now clearly isn't working. I'm just worried that our board will never accept this reality.

Someone from the San Diego City group even commented on the IG post saying "lol wut"

It was such a bad attempt at making a First Take approach to the subject.

I'm not feeling any level on confidence as a supporter until after next Wednesday

If you want more confidence, there are rumours Saliba won't be back. Haaland vs Holding is genuine horror movie stuff lol.

100%. I've always maintained that actually Spurs were never in the title race. We were very early on until I think it was February, when Cazorla got injured and we fell away. Leicester were just in their own league that year, honestly.

This is ominously bad from Leeds. We don't even have to be good here.
