Mane has been such a failed signing. Maybe Sane deserved it, maybe not, but at least Sane has put in some quality minutes this season.

 

Apparently this starts from 25/26 to let all the deals expire and not open clubs up to lawsuits

Mane suspended by Bayern until further noticed, for punching Sane after the City game.

It's insane how Bayern's season has crumbled in the space of a fortnight. From a potential treble to possibly nothing.

 

Bailing on Nags was bad at the time, and a disaster now.

 

From what I saw it seemed like Sane was better than Mane on the night.

I also don't watch German footy but has Mane translated well to that league?

 

Just looking at the stats I can say a slight downgrade on his Liverpool performances. Last season for Liverpool he got 16 goals and 4 assists in 34 appearances (goal participation every 1.7 games). For Bayern so far, 6 goals, 4 assists, 20 appearances, so GP every 2. In the league, anyway.

 

I haven't watched much of him or Bayern this season, but seen a lot of their fans calling him underwhelming at best and some even saying the worst signing in their history (given cost and wages).

Mane has been an unmitigated disappointment. Between underperformance and injury, locker room issues with Nags and now Sane, it’s safe to say his signing was a mistake. He’s lost a step or three, he was unable to fit as a striker which only adds to our glut of high-caliber wingers.

I was there for his first goal in Bayern red off a PK this summer in DC and was very excited about the potential. Never thought it’d be like this.

 

They must have had him at gunpoint because... Why..?

 

May be a bit early but it looks like this ref won’t be fooled by their diving and shithousing.

Insane that Bruno gets booked for “handball” when the ball was blasted at him from a yard away and that’s not a penalty because his hand was on the ground. The handball rule is fucked.
