Looks like the Eriksen mystery is over. He said he “wants a new challenge”. I’m guessing the idea is to sell him with Lo Celso being his replacement. Doubt we could do much better than that tbh.

Just unsure of who will buy Eriksen. RM has been the popular name, and I think that’s the most likely destination. But if they actually land Pogba then there’s no room for Eriksen.

 

Bale, Isco, James, Pogba, Eriksen, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Llorente, Vazquez, and Asensio make for a hell of a midfield group.

Bale, Isco, and James all seemingly want to stay, too.

 

There’s a rumor, likely made up, that Real prefer to do a swap deal with Eriksen. I don’t know how that’d work with the wages of their players.
