  1. For me, Arsenal is more of a competitive rivalry than hatred. I just want to do better than them more than I do any other club. I don’t really hate most of their players. I just hate seeing them win lol

But Chelsea, yes, they can get fucked.

  3. Oh god we have Newcastle, United, Liverpool in 3 straight matches and all within a 7-day span haha

That is not going to go well.

Exact same lol. One of my best friends is an Arsenal fan and we always have good banter, am I excited that Arsenal are going to win the league? Hell no. Am I as mad as I would be if Chelsea won it? Nah. It’s also impossible to dislike Saka.

Looking at the table and it’s really quite possible that 3 of the “big six” miss out on European competition this year.

Would not be too surprised to see 5th-7th made up of Brighton, Brentford, and Aston Villa.

I think it’s needed to shake up the big six. Force some clubs to rethink how they operate.

Not like the Tories to be selling off British assets to dodgy foreign groups…

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Villa have got a pretty amazing run of games too. Mixture of dross, but also the teams around them that they need to leap frog to get a European slot. Their form under Emery has been mighty too. Clearly wants himself his beloved Europa trophy once more!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Premier League did everything they could to block the deal because they knew this shit was coming, and a lot of people who should have known better did the opposite.

he just seems so so easy to defend against since 80% of the time he looks to switch the ball to his left foot and curl it in. If you can stop that, you nerf him as a threat pretty quickly.

Arjen Robben made a living out of doing exactly this, though. Sometimes being one dimensional in your play can work out. He's still only young, too.

If you are going to have a disaster season then you can at least make it funny & entertaining for the fans; this appointment certainly achieves that

Really can't comprehend the thought process behind reappointing Lampard. Dude is poison, can't manage for toffee (literally).

Totally agree. The Antony hate is way over blown. Yes, he came in on a huge fee, but I don't think anyone was expecting him to be absolutely world class this season - the fee was not based on his current or even future value, it was based on United being slow and shite at transfer business and Ajax having already been raided.

He's a bit one dimensional and has ruined a few attacks by being literally the most one-footed player on earth, but so what. He's really young, in a brand new league at least a few levels up from where he came from. He's scored some important goals for us, and is absolutely crucial to the way the team plays. He might not have the figures to reflect it, but he's been a really important player for us this season - the workrate, the width he offers, the fact he's totally different to everyone else we have (left footed inverted winger). I have no doubts he'll be better next year and his figures will start to reflect that.

It will also help next year that we will have a more filled out and complete squad that’s playing a much more fluid and nailed down system which should in theory help some of the struggling players like Sancho and Antony in particular

As long as there is no chance whatsoever of him getting it beyond the end of the season, I very much see this as a PR appointment, get the club legend in and tell him to keep things simple.

Good point. Just occurred to me that he's probably being paid button's, too.

Potter developed no connection with the Chelsea fans by all accounts. It's an easy way to create a good atmosphere til the end of the season.

Definitely comes across as "hey look at this old legend lead the team instead of the absolute shit show that is our ownership group"
