I can't believe Spurs fucked off Ajax just to do that

Liverpool were just as bad. Bad after going 1-0 up they didn't have to do more against these Spurs.

  4. I mean, we were playing a very good defensive team. Fewest goals against domestically. We held possession but couldn’t break through. There’s a reason Liverpool only lost one game all year.

I fell asleep from minute 20 to minute 70 and asked my dad what happened in the game when I was asleep. Literally nothing, he said.

  6. 3 weeks off results in sloppy games like that. Probably would lose either way but it wouldn’t be as boring with a shorter layoff.

  7. I will say, I’m not a fan of Liverpool fans I’ve come across but I am happy for Klopp. He deserves a big title. I’d rather a loss to him than Mourinho or Pep.

  8. I’d maybe feel a bit gutted for Lucas if he wasn’t a fucking Bolsonaro supporter

Same for me. I am glad Kloppo finally won a title again. But when it comes to all the unbearable Liverpool fans, they can just fuck off.

  11. Agreed. He is always bad when initially coming back. And Lucas has been so good this tournament. Much more creative. Unfortunate.

  12. I think he’s actually been pretty good after his rapid recoveries besides the time before this one. I don’t necessarily disagree with the broader point, though.

  13. Yeah it’s hard to not start him if he’s healthy. So I get it.

  16. It’s weird because the last several Liverpool Spurs games have been the opposite of boring.

  17. I didn’t plan this ideally so when I went to the Cleveland Spurs bar a little after 2pm it was far too packed for my liking, so I ended up just heading back to somewhere closer to home in the suburbs. I would have had some serious FOMO if we had actually pulled it off and I wasn’t surrounded by crazy NE Ohio Spurs fans, so this is my bright side I suppose

Didn’t watch it (fuck that, lol) but my brother did and said no one player stood out to the point where he could pick a ‘man of the match’, it was that average/dull.

“A great advert for the English game” lol

Great to see Klopp and Salah win the trophy they deserve. Nowhere near as good as the matches leading up to it but a nice result.
As far as fans go, every sports team ever has a fair legion of insufferable fans, compounded only if they win a lot etc.

Pretty cool that Origi made such a huge contribution to that CL win, decisive goals in the semi and the final. Always cooler when the unsung heroes are the ones that make the difference in these huge games!

poor match. the 60-85 mark was exhilarating but overall that was a snooze. liverpool hardly had to work for it.

Alisson and Matip were great. Everyone else on the field was busy passing the ball to the other team.

Had a great time watching the final at a bar in Chicago. We got there three hours early and it was already packed. The game itself was boring overall but I’m happy it went my way. The semis and quarters and whatnot were full of drama, so I’ll take a snoozer.

It was fun singing all the songs I had heard while watching matches, the songs I’ve come to hum to myself at work or around the house, with a bunch of random people. The atmosphere in general was really excellent in the bar

And it was fun to see all the Liverpool and Tottenham gear around the city afterwards while we did other things. Good day all in all

Alisson is so good, saw that he made 8 saves so MotM deserved for him. Him plus that back 4 = the best defence in the world right now.
