Apparently Marco Silva threw a water bottle at the linesman before getting sent off. I don’t think there’s anything the ref could have done to avoid that. You also simply can’t keep Mitrović on the pitch after that, in fact I’d say he’s done for the season.

This is nice. Proud of the club for doing this. I noticed this but never realised we were the first to do it. Hopefully every other club follows suit.

 

My son started a little “soccer” camp this last weekend. They basically just run around and kick balls and aimlessly but he’s just 22 months. But he got a jersey and was bestowed the number 7, so as a Manchester United fan I’m taking this as a sign.
