I was at The Players tournament yesterday at Sawgrass and missed the Spurs game. We seemed to have played well. I'm going to miss next week's game because it's during my Istanbul trip. If we play well again I may just stop watching and decide I'm the bad juju.

 

No atmosphere from the home fans (Never is at Fulham), and the commentary dropped put for a few minutes. Was like watching pandemic football again lol

This is why Casemiro should be nowhere near the TOTS. Brilliant player, but you can’t be sent off and miss crucial runs of games through pure stupidity. Third red of the season in all comps no?

Was gonna argue this, but watching a replay on my phone I think it’s nowhere near as reckless as I first thought.

Still stupid to go studs up, gives the ref an opportunity to be dumb, but it’s not a straight red for me.

It wasn’t reckless at all. He won the ball and his leg bounced up, wasn’t even with force. Just VAR trying to look like the do something. Showed the ref a slowed down clip of his studs hitting the leg. It will get overturned if there’s any sanity. Unfortunately that’s a big if.

Just seen this. It 100% should be a penalty, but apparently it can’t be given if the arm is used to hold up a player. Dumb as hell. Should be a penalty every day.

 

Don’t know why defenders don’t do that for every low cross if those are the rules. Completely brain dead rule if it allows players to just hit the ground and grab the ball legally.

 

Ref clearly has money on Southampton. Every decision has gone against United.
