IT IS DOWN TO @AFoolsGlory vs @SamLevi11 — sorry for not making this as active and fun as the last one. Got kinda lost in the weeds for a week or two in the personal world.

also, quoted these so we could all see them since I had to go find the other post:

That should never have been a free kick to France. Upa just shocked Romero into Lloris.

Di Maria's addition has really helped Argentina. Dembele has gotten absolutely done there.

Dembele on Di Maria is not what you want and that's what you get.

Prestigious indeed. Alexis Mac Allister needs to keep the celebrating to a minimum over the next day or two, Brighton need him away at Charlton on Wednesday!

Don’t forget you get an entire wild card to use before the Boxing Day matches for fantasy.

Anyone know if Toney is banned from playing or not yet from all the betting?

Yeah definitely feels like if he is here after January, he’ll be gone come next season.

  19. I feel a little dirty saying this, but outside of Spurs, I think I’m going to root for PSG to win Champions League. It’d be cool to see Messi and Mbappe win it together after such an epic WC final against each other.

  20. World Cup ends and papers are immediately back on the “Conte might leave” bullshit. It never ends lol

  21. Tbh, if anything, Conte should be the one having to prove himself to the board, not the other way around. In the windows since his arrival we’ve brought in Kulusevski, Bentancur, Perisic, Bissouma, Richarlison, Lenglet, and Spence. And we’ve shipped out the dead weight that he didn’t want. He preaches patience and that he needs a couple seasons, which I agree, but the first half of the season was still a disappointment. We’ve been spending. The players we’ve brought in are good players. He hasn’t gotten the best out of the squad.

Just tired of constantly seeing headlines about him leaving unless we spend lol I’m guessing most of them are made-up and just based on speculation. But it’s still annoying.

Apologies, been a crazy week but I had been meaning to put a post together about this.

Been thinking a lot about which charity to choose. I know we have people from a few different countries in here, but I believe most of the world is struggling with cost of living recently. The poorest in the UK are suffering at the moment with many having to choose between eating and heating, which is just horrendous in a so called "rich" country, and it's particularly bad given the recent cold weather here.

As such, I've chosen to donate to The Trussell Trust, a UK food bank charity, which helps provide food and support to the most vulnerable in society.

Their donations page can be found here - https://www.trusselltrust.org/make-a-donation/

I can't see anything on their website about not accepting donations from abroad. However, if any non-Brits have issues donating, I'd encourage donations to any local similar purposed charities.
