I don't think I've got one since I was a kid, maybe early teens. I think the last one I had was an England shirt with Gerrard on the back from about 2008. I had the Liverpool Champions League jersey for the 01/02 season, and I think the white away shirt from 03/04. Maybe another England one lying around in a box somewhere.

 

Tbh I use all the non-Arsenal ones to the gym, bar the old Atleti one and the Seattle/Hendrix one.

I just remembered my extremely cheap knock off Udinese Di Natale kit and man, I want a real one in his honor. What a guy

 

As an overweight guy, I’ve quickly learned kits are much harder to come by for bigger people than a baseball/football jersey. It seems like 2xl is the largest in a lot of options (cue fat American jokes now)

my only one is a 20/21 musiala, which two years later is now looking like the perfect purchase.

Speaking of jerseys I really should do an index of all mine. Trying to think of the most obscure one I have. I wish I had kept all my old ones from childhood too. The treble jersey, the one with OT imprinted on it etc. I think the oldest one I have now is my Japan 06 WC jersey. I really wish I still had my Korea '02 jersey, that was such a lovely colour.

And feck, just stuck in an order for Japan, Belgium away, and Argentina jerseys. Was going to get that Mexico away jersey, but I felt I’d be betraying the thread.

I came here to get in on this ranting. What a load of shit from FIFA. The moment you negotiate for governments to spend billions of dollars to host the tournament, overhaul their local tax policy to get your cut, and then spend nearly a decade promoting the place, it becomes political. That 6,500 people then died to host your precious event further tips the scales - and FIFA wanting to abscond all responsibility for that is ridiculous.

 

I hope every team finds a way to make an absolute nuisance of themselves, whether that be for FIFA or Qatar. Fuck this tournament.
