Why couldn't I get COVID during a week with UCL midweek games to occupy my time?

Though, I don't have Paramount+ so it wouldn't matter all that much anyway.

  2. Had no clue we were getting a Man City v Barca game today

A former Barca coach/friend of Pep got ALS so it's a fundraiser for ALS research.

With all respect to the Forest fan here, it would be quite funny watching them spend so much and still go back down.

  7. There's a report (probably bullshit) that Spurs are interested in Ziyech....and it made me curious if the whole "Chelsea and Spurs never do business together" thing will change now that Chelsea have new ownership.

  10. I've always wondered why Arsenal and Chelsea will do business together but not with Spurs. I thought we were the small club that never wins trophies and they don't have to worry about us?

There's definitely a bigger rivalry between Spurs and Chelsea than between Arsenal and Chelsea, isn't there?

  14. Love it being another straight loan. Don't wanna completely give up on him.

    I do not exist.

I can’t see a situation where we stay up. My brothers are more positive but I keep thinking we were bottom of the Championship twelve months ago and didn’t really expect to come up. I keep saying it but most of last year’s squad were on loan so we have had to spend this much to be remotely competitive. I ultimately think the team gelling will be the thing not in our favour. My hope is that we’re competitive - that we give every team we play a good go and we get some wins like the game against West Ham.

But let’s look at the signings. Outside of Lingard, which was unbelievable for our level, a huge bulk are young upcoming players - at the very least we’ll recoup the money if they want to leave after a relegation, but it’s also a young and hungry squad that if we go down has the ability to bounce back up. That’s the thing: I think there’s been a good investment in the future. Yes, it’s given us a chance this season to be half decent but it’s also wise investment that will hopefully put us in good stead that if we go down we can be like the Fulhams and bounce back convincingly. If we get relegated that would be my hope. I hope we don’t but I’m just loving that I don’t have the nerves and pressure of high expectations! You’ve just got to enjoy every minute as I’ve waited 23 years for us to be here and I never thought it would come again any time soon, particularly after our start to the season last year under Houghton!

Really want Bodø/Glimt to make it into the group stages for some reason.

Triple post but I think Saibari is a better talent than Gakpo. I've watched PSV's last three and half games in Europe and I'm going to live (and possibly die) by my sword here. I dont really care what he does in the Eredivisie.

Tillman assist might have sealed Rangers moving on against PSV.

Sands and Tillman are probably playing themselves onto the roster right now.

Mostly because of a rivalry that goes back to the 60’s between you both. Arsenal and Chelsea meanwhile just haven’t really had that rivalry until the 2000’s. Just one of them weird quirks. When there are like 25 league clubs in the greater london area, you can’t hate all of them the same amount.
