Yeah I am waiting to see any City sources confirm that Silva asking price before believing it. That’s less than what either Raz or Jesus got. Those deals were expiring rather than being for 3 more years like Silva. He has wanted to possible leave a few times now and we have always told him if we get an offer that’s matches the valuation we would. He’s been able to keep his head down and play while not causing issues so it would be out of character for that being the reason we are lowering it.

 

Romero also reported that Ferran Torres would cost 35 and it ended up at 65 so again this is a Barca source reporting this. I would be floored if that is what the fee is for Silva.

Anthony Modeste to Dortmund is the last thing I would have expected a few years ago, but here we are. Pleased with the signing considering the other names that were floated as potential fill-ins for Haller. Modeste has proven he can score in the BuLi so here’s to hoping for the best.

Romero is literally just a Barca mouthpiece. It's the same person who claimed they were getting Torres for between €35-€40m, Garcia for less than €10m, reported Haaland and De Ligt were done deals and has constantly been saying De Jong was leaving only for him to still be at Barca.

 

Funny thing about Romero is he’s literally come from nowhere this summer. He’s never been the good source from the club (and wouldn’t say he’s the good one now, either).

 

Yeah Reddit has him marked as Tier 1 which is weird for me to understand. I mean I think he reported the exact same kind of phrasing just last month that we had agreed to less than our asking price of €80m with Barca on Silva.

Just watched the entire 120 minutes of PSV v Monaco and I've got to say Gakpo barely featured, Vanderson had him in his back pocket. On the other hand, Luuk de Jong got the winner + an assist despite playing poorly himself. I was most impressed by van Nistelrooy's subs to be honest, they really changed the complexity of the tie in extra-time. There was a bit of luck, too, Monaco hit the woodwork twice.

 

I mean of course he’s shit, he’s linked with United.
