That was a fun opening match. Thought both teams played generally well. Arsenal obviously the more talented team and buried their best chance while Palace couldn’t quite get the job done.

Jenas was a little harsh on Trent on the goal – his body angle was wrong but Mitrovic would have scored anyway – but it's obvious that targeting him in the air at the back post is a good way to go. Diaz does defend but he's going to have to recover like Mane more consistently in order to stop those situations because Thiago's a walking yellow card when he's exposed and Robertson can't deal with 2v1s on his own.
