this seems a really dumb thing to say in an interview. like on some level I get it if he had another year and wanted out. but he's out of contract, everyone already knows he's out of contract. he can't seriously be thinking that putting this shit out there is going to make clubs drop what they're doing and reach out about him.

I want Liverpool to win the league over City.....but I also need Spurs to beat Liverpool in their upcoming match.

but it would be very us if we won tonight and got hammered by Arsenal thus giving them a boost of confidence during the run in.

 

Ideal outcome for Spurs this week:

United lose to Liverpool.
Arsenal lose to Chelsea.

United and Arsenal draw.

Spurs beat Brentford.

Would put all 3 teams at same number of GP and Spurs 5 points ahead of both sides.

So of course this won’t happen.

Either of the North London clubs finishing above United would constitute a massive, massive failure IMO. It can’t be overstated just how bad the state of this squad is right now.

 

I’m a City supporter. It’s the only time I’ve “rooted” for Man U.
