I was living in Barcelona at this time and used to be able to hear the cheers from my mum’s apartment. All I remember if everyone talking after this game about this kid was going to be the best player in the world, ever. And it turns out, yes, he was.

 

It's truly wild that we've gotten to see two of the greatest ever at the same time in so many sports. Messi/Ronaldo. Serena/Venus. Djokovic/Federer/Nadal. Phelps/Ledecky. Brady/(Manning/Brees/Rodgers). Living in a truly unprecedented era of sports mastery.

FYI if you have Paramount+ they have AFC Champions League games on it. Been watching games all morning, really cool to watch teams from countries I typically do no not have access to or miss due to time differences. This Ulsan vs. Johor game has been really entertaining to watch.

As a Forest fan, I’m sad to see them down and I do hope they recover quickly. Not having the two games against them next season is sad and I hope other Forest fans will acknowledge that rather than celebrate and gloat.

Yeah, i think this is an indescribably awful thing to go through and i hope they are well.
