    In short, he has a terrible agent who said he was too big for Schalke and that he could get CL football at a top tier club year in, year out.

    Can't believe the season starts at the weekend. I know we had the World Cup this year but the summer seems to get shorter.

    Looking forward to seeing what Hurst can do with this team, he's said a lot of positive things about wanting players who are hungry, etc. Might be the first time in a few years that Ipswich play some decent football too.

    Lost to West Ham in our last friendly, but one of their goalscorers cost £40m while ours cost £750k... slight difference between the leagues.

    Very strange decision - replaced him with Colombian RB Santiago Arias from PSV. Inter getting stronger and stronger though, Aurturo Vidal joining next!!!

    Just read that boyhood AC Milan fan Luka Modric could be joining their squadron, too.

    Vrsaljko isn't that good to be fair. Was average at Atleti. Can see why they've given up on him already. He suits Italian football and not much else.

    WE'RE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE!

    In all seriousness, good to get a win behind us. Sanchez looks really really impressive, Pereira too, still. Fred looked good as well. Some good movements and touches.

    How does that win fit in with Mourihno's whining?

    We still haven't signed anyone since June. Martial has fucked off on strike. We don't look like we're gonna pay up for anyone and we'll only have half a team for day 1. We only have one fit right back, who wants to leave, and we want him out. Thankfully, Jones, Lukaku, Rashford and Lindelöf are coming back from holiday early.

    If Inter can afford Modric then I’m sure Spurs can. If he is actually available Levy needs to be all over that.

    Madrid shouldn't, and maybe wouldn't, cope with Ronaldo and Modric leaving in the same transfer window.

    Imagine letting two of the five best players in the world leave in one window. Mad.

    It would be interesting to say the least were Modric to go. I wouldn't write them off mind you.

    Ashley Young picked up an injury?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

    Don't know. Wouldn't be surprised. Valencia came back fat and with no fitness then got injured. Smalling is injured already. Dalot won't be fit until September. It's all fun and games.

    Smalling not getting sold to Wolves?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

    Nope. That was just some lad on Reddit chancing his arm. Rojo might be off to Everton though.

    £30 million as well, being quoted. Fuck me, after years of getting peanuts for players, that might make up for the whole lot. Bite their hand off at that.

    If Everton pay that for him, they're the second best club in the land.

    The amount of trash they've taken off us over the years too. Lose points for giving us Moyes, but all is forgiven if they take Rojo off our hands.

    Second only to Sunderland in taking United dross off the books.

    I'd demand £55m for Tierney, that'd be ridiculous. Rojo is a bomb.

    This Martial stuff is wrecking my head. I just want it to be August 10th and we can move on.

  24. What clubs outside of Spurs have been linked to him?

  25. Nick

    @fangclubb Prestigious

    Chelsea and Bayern. But no one has been linked to him in ages. I'm talking about him not flying back for preseason.
